"Lomotor's sound is a captivating blend of modern production and vintage warmth. Lush melodies and pulsating rhythms are woven with the crackle and hiss of unearthed 1980s tape recordings, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Analog synthesizers take center stage, their textures are an invitation to journey into the wild, a chance to lose yourself in the sound of rustling leaves and summer grasshoppers recreated through electronic alchemy. It's a testament to the power of nature to ignite creativity and a call to reconnect with the world around us." - Where the Music Meets

About

Hello! I'm Josh. I make music in the forest as Lomotor. I live on a small farm in Massachusetts. I like to sample the sounds of the natural world around me and blend them with analog and digital synths to make organic electronic music.

My tracks are nostalgic and worn, inspired by the hills and valleys of my rural surroundings. It is the music of branches and leaves, forest streams and old fields now overgrown. As we travel from track to track we are given glimpses of a past life, perhaps now gone, lost in dusty shoeboxes of cassette tapes and faded Polaroids.
