These 10 tracks were created in the forest and in my small home studio. Field recordings of birds, insects, and trees drift within layers of synthesizers. In the early 1980’s my dad recorded everyday conversations to cassette. Fragments of those conversations are woven throughout the album.

The name came to me in a dream years ago. I woke up in the night and wrote it on a bookmark, and held onto it over the years. To me, Abcapsilahad is the name of a place somewhere between the forests I grew up in and an imagined world of nature and creativity. A faded memory mixed with childhood wonder. This album is the soundtrack to that place.
